Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of fatsa.pet — the community lost-and-found platform for pets. By using Fatsa you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, submitting a report, or browsing community alerts, you agree to these terms and our community guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using Fatsa you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. The service

Fatsa helps neighbours reunite lost pets by sharing reports, alerts, and AI-assisted match suggestions. We cannot guarantee that any pet will be found. If you arrange to meet another user — for example to hand over a found pet — you do so at your own risk; meet in public places and take reasonable care.

4. Your account

You sign in with your phone number. Keep your account information accurate and up to date. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post — photos, reports, and comments. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process that content (including AI analysis of pet photos) for the purpose of operating the service. Only post content you have the right to share, and make sure photos show pets — not identifiable people.

6. Acceptable use

Submit only truthful reports and information. Do not use Fatsa to harass others, send spam, post offensive material, advertise, or pursue any commercial purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt or misuse the service.

7. Moderation and reporting

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or the community guidelines. If you see a listing or comment that should not be here, use the Report listing action in the app or email us at help@fatsa.pet.

8. Termination

You can stop using Fatsa and delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we may discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Fatsa is a free community service provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for interactions between users on or off the platform, or for the actions of third parties.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms here and revise the date at the top; material changes will be flagged in the app. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
